Dear Dr. Mahadevia,
I came back to U.S.A on the 23rd of February 2001, from Ahmedabad. While I was in Ahmedabad I was suddenly taken ill due to coronary disease. On 6th February, My son Dr. Tushar, who rushed by Air from New York to Ahmedabad, shifted me to KRISHNA Heart Hospital at Ghuma from ICCU (Intensive Coronary Care Unit) in V.S. Hospital.
I write this letter to you, as I am told you are an active member of the Board of Trustees at KRISHNA Heart Hospital.
I was deeply impressed with everything namely hospital management, treatment, discipline, and above all courtesy, kindness, humane approach, efficiency of staff, etc. So far I had an erroneous impression about our hospitals in our country, but I am very happy to correct my wrong impression.
Let me assure you (1) the hospital is beautifully situated, well constructed, both architecturally and structurally with good ventilation, etc, (2) the hospital is spotlessly clean, and (3) the staff, doctors, and nurses are all extremely polite with good knowledge and humane approach. You have excellent and the most modern equipment and an expert team of surgeons, cardiologists, pathologists, etc. I was treated within minutes of my admission.
I am sure all this is possible only with excellent administration by you and your friends, like Dr. Atul Chokali, and others.
With this letter I compliment you and your colleagues for the excellent work you are doing. I hope people in Ahmedabad will continue to help you to keep ‘God’s work’ to save human life and needy persons like me.
Yours sincerely,
Vasant Vani
